Hello! Magic Spider is a personal project made by one person who is building an app for the first time. I am doing my best, but there may be mistakes along the way. Thank you for your patience and kindness. If you find something wrong, please tell me at magicspiderteam@gmail.com and I will fix it as soon as I can.

Please read these terms before using Magic Spider. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. They apply to the website and to the Android and iPhone apps.

⚠️ Important notices

AI-generated questions. The questions in Magic Spider are generated using artificial intelligence (AI), including Claude by Anthropic. AI can make mistakes, so a question, answer or explanation may occasionally be wrong, unclear or not match the syllabus. Please check anything doubtful against your child’s school materials, textbooks, teacher or other trusted sources.
Payments carry risk. Please read the section on Premium plans and payments before you pay. Check the price, currency, duration and renewal terms at checkout.
Magic Spider is a practice aid only. It does not guarantee any exam result.

1. About Magic Spider

Magic Spider is a home practice app for Maths, English and Logical Reasoning, a personal project run by an individual developer in Singapore, not by a company. It is an independent learning tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Ministry of Education or the AEIS examination.

2. Accounts

Accounts must be created by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over, who may then set up child profiles.
Children should use the app with the knowledge and supervision of their parent or guardian.
Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Please give accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Using the app

You agree not to misuse the service, including trying to access other people’s accounts, interfering with the app, copying or reselling our questions and content, or using the app for any unlawful purpose.

4. Our content

Questions, mock exams, pictures and other content in Magic Spider belong to us or our licensors. They are for your family’s personal, non-commercial use only.

5. AI-generated content

Questions, answer options, answer keys and explanations are produced with AI tools, including Claude (Anthropic). We review content and correct errors we find, but no AI or review process is perfect.
Claude and other AI tools can make mistakes. This includes wrong answers, ambiguous wording, errors in figures or diagrams, and content that is too easy or too hard for the stated grade.
Please verify. If an answer looks wrong, confirm it with other valid sources such as school textbooks, assessment books, your child’s teacher, or official syllabus material. Do not rely on Magic Spider as the only source for learning or exam preparation.
If you find a mistake, please tell us at magicspiderteam@gmail.com so we can fix it.
Scores and progress in the app depend on the questions and answer keys in the app. If a question is wrong, a score may be wrong too.

6. Learning results

Scores, levels and reports are there to support practice. They are not official assessments, and we cannot guarantee any exam result or school placement.

7. Premium plans and payments

The Android and iPhone apps are free for now and have no payments. This section applies to paid plans on the website.

⚠️ Payment risks – please read

Check before you pay. The price, currency, plan length and what is included are shown at checkout. Make sure they are what you expect before confirming.
Third-party processing. Payments are processed by Stripe and your bank or payment app (for example PayNow). We never see or store your full card number. Fees, exchange rates, declines, delays and security of those services are controlled by them, not by us.
Overseas and currency charges. If your card or bank account uses a different currency, your bank may add foreign-exchange or overseas transaction fees.
PayNow and bank transfers. Transfers are made by you and may be hard or impossible to reverse. Check the amount and reference carefully. A payment sent with the wrong details may not be recoverable.
Renewals. Some card plans may renew automatically. Where this applies, it is stated at checkout. You are responsible for cancelling before the renewal date if you do not want to continue.
Refunds. Unless the law requires otherwise or we say so at checkout, payments for digital access are not refundable once the plan has started.
Unauthorised charges. Keep your login details private. If you see a charge you do not recognise, contact your bank and us straight away at magicspiderteam@gmail.com.
Changes. We may change prices, plans or what is included for future purchases. We will not change the price of a plan you have already paid for during its paid period.
Premium content. Premium material is also AI-generated and subject to the AI notice above. Paying does not guarantee that every question is error-free or that any exam result will be achieved.
Only a parent or guardian aged 18 or over may make a purchase. Children must not use a payment method without permission.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Magic Spider available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes. We may update, change or remove features over time.

9. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be excluded.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using Magic Spider and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including children’s data.

12. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. We may update them from time to time and will post the new version here with a new date.
